Galapagos Shore Excursions Highlights
San Cristobal Island (Chatham) - This is where the M/V Galpagos Explorer II begins and ends its cruises. Santiago (James) - Great for snorkeling and swimmming amongst the playful sea lions.
Espanola (Hood) - The island is home to the famous "Soplador" (blow hole). Bartholome (Bartholomew) - Famous for its volcanic formations resembling a moon scene, as well as seeing the penguins as you snorkle
Floreana (Charles) - The Island has several attractions, including Punta Cormorant and Devil´s Crown. Isabela (Abermale) - Home to large concentrations of penguins, pelicans, cormorants and flamingos.
Santa Cruz (Indefatigable) - This is the home of the Charles Darwin Research Station. Also of interest are the giant tortoise breeding pens. Fernandina (Narborough) - At Punta Espinoza, hundreds of marine iguanas sun themselves on the rocks.
