Galapagos Explorer’s Quito 3-day extension travel package. Prior to your Galapagos Explorer cruise, we encourage our clients to stay in Quito, the capital of Ecuador. Quito is situated in a high valley surrounded by beautiful mountains and volcano formations. Quito is where most Galapagos flights originate from in the morning and is a wonderful introduction to the cultures and history Ecuador has to offer

The Quito 3-day tour extension highlights the colonial city’s culture, rich history and many museums that this historical city has to offer, as well as a stop at the “Middle of the World” museum, where you will find the splitting of the hemispheres. This Quito tour extension includes the essentials. 2 private airport transfers, daily breakfast, 2-nights at the Hilton Colon, Swissotel Hotel or similar. A private tour of the city of Quito and the “Middle of the World”, with an English speaking guide, all museums entrance fees and a private car during the tour. For clients unable to travel to 9,300 feet in elevation or to the capital city Quito. A very similar extension can be provided from the coastal city of Guayaquil (the city of roses) which is at sea-level, we will be utilizing the great services of the Oro Verde Hotel or similar in Guayaquil.
