Renaissance Balcony Suites (4)

These outstanding suites average 280 square feet in size. They are located atop the ship, on the Explorer Deck and offer the ultimate in terms of amenities, with great views and include their own verandah. The Renaissance Balcony Suites are the only accommodations on the Explorer Deck.

Deluxe Balcony Suites (20)

These newly built (2007) magnificent balcony suites are located on the Erickson Deck. They average 217 square feet in size and have dramatic ocean-front balcony, with a large glass door and all-encompassing views of the ocean.

Deluxe Panoramic Suites (2)

These striking suites are located on the Erickson Deck. They average 251 square feet in size and have three large windows overlooking the bow of the ship.

Premium Suites (5)

These spacious suites average 234 square feet in size and have large picture windows, with breathtaking ocean views.

Classic Suites (19)

The Galapagos Explorer’s Classic Suites are located on the Columbus Deck and Magellan Deck. They average between 210 and 252 square feet (far larger than most suites on other Galapagos vessels). The Classic Suites on the Columbus Deck have a full picture window and the Classic Suites on the Magellan Deck have port holes.

The interior and exterior areas of the Galapagos Explorer 2 offer a variety of rest, leisure and interpretation options, while you comfortably enjoy the cruise. All of our suites are spacious and arguable the largest of the Galapagos vessels. They are equipped with a large bed, convertible to two twin beds and offer sweeping ocean views (except on the Magellan Deck). The suites aboard the Galapagos Explorer are fully air-conditioned, equipped with marble bathrooms, full size shower with cold and hot running water, flat-screen TV, mini-bar, 110/120 volt outlets, satellite communication, wireless internet (one of the only ships to offer this) and other amenities.
